   It combines elements of engineering (mechanical, electrical, computer) and computer science to create machines that can perform tasks, either autonomously or with human guidance.

5 types of robots:


1. Pre-programmed:
    These robots have a pre-programmed design. They function to perform specific tasks, and they only execute the functions within their programming, with no deviation.
2. Teleoperated:
          These robots often operate in conditions that humans cannot or in those that might pose safety risks to people. They work through human-directed remote control.
3. Autonomous:
These robots operate independently of human supervision. Autonomous robots perceive the environment through built-in sensors and adapt accordingly.
4. Augmenting:
These robots enhance or replace human functions. Augmenting robots have sensors that may respond to a human’s brain or other body parts like muscles.
5. Humanoid: 
 These robots have a design that mimics humans, either in action or appearance. Humanoid robots help humans with personal assistance, education, entertainment, manufacturing, research, and search and rescue.

  WHAT IS MEANT BY CLASSICAL DANCE?  Bharat Nãtyam, the Indian Classical Dance from South India-Tamil Nadu, has been one of the oldest and the richest classical dance of India. It’s antiquity lies about 3000 years ago with a mythological as well as a historical origin. It was initially known as Sadir-attam (court dance) and also Dãsiattam (performed by the daasis-the servants of God). In its popular connotation, the name Bharat Nãtyam is understood in two ways: It is the dance (nãtyam) , that beautifully blends the three elements – ‘Bha’-Bhãva (from expressions), ‘Ra’-Rãga (from musical melody) and ‘Ta’-Tãla (from rythm).
